Banded
Stripe
Inspired by Navajo tradition, Pendleton first
produced the Banded Stripe near the end of the
19th century, and production continued through
the 1920s (it was made with rounded corners
only from 1896 to 1909). Then, as now, it was
given an unnapped finish, providing a
hard-wearing, resilient texture that
highlights the pattern's sharp lines and
bright colors. 82% wool / 18% cotton. Dry
clean. Made in the USA. King sham fits 20" x
36" pillow. |

Yavapai
The nomadic Yavapai or "People of the Sun"
once occupied much of central Arizona. Yavapai
women specialized in basketry, with some items
woven tightly enough to hold water. This vivid
pattern reflects the intricate Yavapai art of
basketry. Like the original Native American
trading blankets, it is unnapped. 82% wool / 18% cotton. Dry clean.
Made in the USA. King sham fits 20" x 36"
pillow. |

Buffalo
Lodge
According to Blackfeet legend, many painted
tepees were given to the Plains Indians in
dreams by animals, among the earliest - the
buffalo. This strong, stylized interpretation
of Native American motifs creates bold,
contemporary drama. Red represents the earth
and black, the night sky. Reversible pattern
has multi-striped tepee design on one side;
black on red images on the other. 82% pure
virgin wool / 18% cotton, unnapped. Made in
the USA. King sham fits 20" x 36" pillow.
